The news is good on Sadie, Oprah Winfrey’s puppy that is being treated for parvovirus. A spokeswoman for Harpo Productions said Wednesday that the 13-week-old cocker spaniel is “holding steady for now.”

Sadie and littermate Ivan were adopted by Winfrey earlier this month from PAWS Chicago. A few days later, Ivan began displaying symptoms of parvo and died. Sadie immediately began undergoing treatment at a suburban veterinary clinic. Tuesday was the first day that she was considered in stable condition.
