The Illinois State Police security detail that was outside Blagojevich’s Northwest Side home left shortly after the Senate voted to remove him from office.

The Chicago Police Department cordoned off the street around his house, but a police official said officers were there to control traffic, not to serve as a security detail for Blagojevich.

Blago has a lot of dirt on important people who aren’t going to want that to come to light if he tries to save his own ass from prison time once U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald is done compiling evidence for the inevitable criminal trial.

My guess says some of that mop of his goes grey as I bet Rod will be learning how to sleep with one eye open pretty quickly.
