Greg Kot’s column today on Kid Sister got me thinking about my alma mater, Columbia College Chicago. If you’re an aspiring hip-hop artist, you should probably spend some time there.

Kanye, Common and Rhymefest all attended briefly. Kid Sister has a degree in film. Matthew Santos (from Lupe Fiasco’s “Superstar”) is also a recent graduate. I suppose they make up for having to claim Andy Dick.
