Apparently my advice column never made it out to the Left Coast, as, according to a witness, a Sacramento man was shot by a panhandler today after refusing her request for money, then adding that she should “get a job.”

Sounds like the lady who got 14 teeth knocked out of her head for the same three words got off easily, as this dude would have been toast had his attacker’s gun not misfired as she took aim at his noggin.
