I love how in this story the “victims” are referred to as a “15-year-old boy” and an “18-year-old youth,” even though they were the initial aggressors of the altercation.
My money says that if the 53-year-old man hadn’t defended himself and instead ended up in the hospital or dead, “boy” and “youth” wouldn’t be found in this story, and the elder would be an 18-year-old man.
Oh how the media plays with words to sell those newspapers.
UPDATE: The man who stabbed the two teenagers trying to mug him has been released and will not face charges. The updated version has dropped its initial descriptions as “15-year-old boy” and “18-year-old youth.”
