Why does this need to be national news on CNN? Yes, it’s terrible that this girl was shot to death and her car was found burning shortly thereafter. But it’s really not that sensational.

I wonder if the mainstream media even knows that so far 17 Chicago Public School students have been murdered this year (27 last year). And they’re all younger than Lauren Burk.

They just weren’t white and pretty.
