Dan Savage: Most people who seek to impose their morality on others usually have a hard time imposing it on themselves, which is what we see in the Evangelicals in the United States, where the divorce rates and out-of-wedlock birthrates are higher in the Bible Belt than they are in Massachusetts or California.

Christopher Hitchens: Yeah. You hear some preacher thundering about faggotry and the next thing you know is he’s going to be found down on his lousy knees.
