Insensitivity in action
I just read that NBC’s “The Biggest Loser” will be casting in Chicago again on Saturday. The last time I wrote about TBL auditions in Chicago I ended up being called a “true ignorant jackass” by a commenter for pointing out the irony in hundreds of people spending eight hours waiting in line for a chance to be humiliated about their weight in front of millions of people on a national TV show when the Diet Channel says the No. 1 excuse given for why people people avoid exercise is because they “don’t have time.”
If I were to go down and point out these statistics to people and record their reactions, do you think it would get through to anyone or would I likely just get Hulk smashed?

It’s always going to be the same story: total victimization. I’m willing to bet every answer would be some form of that.
